Prepare terminology before uploading
Identify product names, abbreviations, and terms that should remain unchanged. Choose the source and target languages explicitly when the document mixes languages, and test a representative paragraph.
Review meaning separately from layout
Read instructions, negatives, dates, quantities, and references to tables against the source. A fluent sentence can still express the wrong condition or attach a value to the wrong label. Check formatting in a separate pass.
Use a suitable data workflow
Translation files are processed temporarily on the server, and extracted text may be sent to Google or MyMemory translation services. Consider the content before using that path. The result is a machine-translated working draft, not a certified translation.
