Make Office Files Easier to Share Without Breaking the Layout

Prepare Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files for PDF sharing, with checks for fonts, page layout, wide tables, and static slide output.

Check the source before conversion

Open the Office file in its usual application and check missing fonts, wide tables, and intended page breaks. Conversion cannot reliably repair a layout that is already incorrect in the source.

Review the risky page type

For Word, inspect headers and tables. For Excel, check the widest sheet and whether columns span several pages. For PowerPoint, compare diagrams and layered graphics in the exported PDF.

Understand what a PDF keeps

PDF is useful for fixed-page sharing, but it does not retain spreadsheet interactivity or presentation animation. Keep the editable Office original and send the reviewed PDF only when a static copy suits the recipient.
