Control capture conditions
Place the page on a flat, contrasting surface and avoid a shadow from your phone. Keep the camera steady and include all four corners. Retake a blurred image before spending time on enhancement.
Correct geometry before appearance
Adjust the page boundary and perspective before applying brightness or contrast changes. Inspect the corners and long table lines to see whether the page has been straightened without clipping content.
Review the exported document
Check small print and stamps at full size. For several pages, keep lighting and orientation consistent and verify order in the final PDF. If editable text is required, run OCR on the clean scan and proofread it separately.
