Prepare Images for Upload Without Making Them Look Cheap
Prepare upload-ready images by matching dimensions and format, then checking text, transparency, and compression at the final display size.

Match the destination dimensions
Read the required width, height, and file type. Crop the composition before resizing so the subject stays in frame. Enlarging a small source adds pixels but cannot recover missing detail.
Choose format for the content
JPG suits many photographic uploads but cannot preserve transparency. PNG is useful when a receiving application requires it or sharp graphic detail matters. WebP may reduce transfer size, but test it in the destination workflow.
Judge quality where it will be used
Inspect the export at the intended display size, then zoom in on small text and edges. A thumbnail preview can hide compression damage. Check the actual download size and avoid repeatedly recompressing the same source.
