A Human Checklist for Resizing, Converting, and Watermarking Images
Apply image edits in a deliberate order: crop, resize, choose a format, add a readable watermark, and verify the exported image.

Set composition before labeling
Crop unwanted edges and settle the final pixel dimensions before positioning a watermark. Otherwise the mark may be resized too small, cut off, or placed over important product details.
Check transparency during conversion
A transparent PNG converted to JPG needs a visible background because JPG has no alpha channel. Review corners and soft edges against the page color where the image will appear.
Test batch settings on varied images
Before processing a folder, choose both portrait and landscape examples and one image with fine text. Check dimensions, names, orientation, and watermark placement in the exported files. Keep originals; a visible watermark does not prevent every form of reuse.
